Paulette Mohrman

Paulette Ware Revere Mohrman, May 7, 1939 - July 27, 2024 (Age 85) was born in Richmond Virginia to Julius Merlin Revere and Grace Garland (O'Brien) Revere. She grew up in Wake, a small rural town in Middlesex County Virginia. She attended Middlesex County Schools and graduated from Middlesex High School in 1957. She attended Webber College in Babson Park Florida where she graduated in 1960 with an associate degree in fashion merchandising.

She met her husband, 2" Lieutenant Gordon Wilson Mohrman, while attending Webber College. They were married on September 3, 1960 in Hartfield Virginia at the historic Lower United Methodist Church built in 1717. They immediately traveled to Laredo, Texas where Gordie was in flight training. She spent the next 21 years as an Air Force wife living in several locations throughout the United States and Europe.

When her children were older, she took several part time merchandising jobs. She also continued her education by taking evening classes in various subjects. After 25 years of marriage, she was introduced to the game of golf where she became a real enthusiast. She also loved to do needlepoint work. She seemed to always be working on a needlepoint project in the evening while watching TV.

Paulette is survived by her husband of 63 years; her children Charles (Stacie) of Colorado Springs CO, Michael of Lakewood CO and Stephen (Grace) of Parrish FL; her grandchildren, Nathan (Stephanie), Courtney Durow (Levi), and Stefan, all of Colorado Springs CO, as well as Heather Bayless (Jordan) of Littleton CO, and Kailey of Lakewood CO. She is also survived by four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister Carolyn Revere Henkel (Bob) of Middlesex County VA.

A graveside service for Paulette will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
