Pauline Varrone

Born on June 16, 1921 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Gipson Pate and she was the wife of the late Arnold J. Varrone, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband, she preceded in death by sisters and two brothers.

While in Bakersville, Mrs. Varrone attended in Rebel’s Creek Baptist Church. She loved to attend the Mitchell County Senior Citizen’s Center, enjoyed fishing, and was an avid reader.

Mrs. Pauline Varrone is survived by her son; Joseph Varrone and wife, Ruth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her daughters; Deborah Grindstaff and husband, Sam of Bakersville, North Carolina; and Marianne Varrone of Leadsville, Colorado; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
