

Peggy Klisavage , 98, passed away in her sleep, surrounded by family, and friends on January 7th, 2023 at her home in Colorado. Peggy, was born in Ceylon, (Sri Lanka) on April 11th, 1924 to Percy and Peggy Penrose. After the family returned to England, she grew up in and around Wadebridge, Cornwall. During World War II, she joined the American Communication services and manned communications 15 floors underground during the bombing of London. After the war, she was assigned to Germany where she met and Married her husband Henry J. Klisavage. They returned to the States in 1945. With his last assignment, they retired and settled in Colorado. Peggy was heavily involved in the Horse Community, a Member of the Arapahoe Hunt, and a great supporter of Eventing, and youth riding. She continued to ride up into her 80's, and loved everything to do with Horses and Dogs. She was greatly loved in the community and will be greatly missed .
Preceded in death by her parents, and her 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Rex, Bunny, Ann, Diana, and Jimmy, her nephew John, and her beloved husband Henry Klisavage. She is survived by her Daughter Lynn Klisavage, Son, John Klisavage Daughter in law Kathy Ann Klisavage, Grandchildren, Lauren, Katie and Christopher, and wife Kaiya, and Great Granddaughter, Willow.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 8th, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home , 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please send donations to Hospice in Peggy's name. Rest in Peace.
