Phil E. Marquez 81 of Colorado Springs passed away on February 6, 2016. Phil was born on November 7, 1934 in Lupton, Colorado to Phil and Mary Marquez. Phil worked as a cabinet maker for most of his life, passing that craft to his children. He is survived by his son's Chris and David Marquez, daughter Cindy Coffman, brothers, Elmer, and Danny Marquez, sisters Shirley Garcia and Alivine Martinez , 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Phil is preceded in passing by the love of his life for 65 years, Madeline Marquez, sons John and James Marquez, brother Ray Marquez and sister Dorothy Lujan. A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910. A Visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be conducted at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church 5354 S. US HWY 85/87, Colorado Springs, CO. 80911.
