
Ray was born in Colorado Springs to Fred Frank Sr., and Elma Brenning Frank, and grew up in Rush Colorado. He attended school at Truckton and Miami Yoder. Prior to his first year of high school the family moved to Colorado springs, and he attended Palmer high school.
He was in retail and worked as a butcher/meat cutter for Miller’s supermarket, and King Soopers, where he ultimately, retired from.
He loved playing cards and games with family and friends, traveling and having people around him. He was also a very good cook and loved to experiment and created many wonderful dishes. When his health still permitted he enjoyed going to Cripple Creek, where he loved playing poker and blackjack. He also spent time fishing camping and gardening where he grew huge sunflowers.
He has survived by his wife, Linda, one daughter, Lisa Burris, two sons, Brian and Zachary Frank, two sisters, Helen Wilson, and Eleanor Martin, four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Burial will be private, but a memorial service will take place at First Presbyterian Church in the Cathedral room located at 219 East Bijou St. on Friday, January 13, 2023 beginning at 1 PM.
