Richard Edward Riffelmacher ‘Riff’ passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 2, 2010. Richard was born in Springfield, MA to parents Richard and Mary Riffelmacher. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran, and his primary occupation was a Manufacturing gManager.
Richard is survived by his Fiancee, Sandy O’Brien, daughters Lisa (James) Johansen and Renee Riffelmacher, step-children, Laurie (Sean) Clark and Jay O’Brien and his fiancée Trish, Grandchildren Alexander, Courtney and Joseph Johansen; Michael Riffelmacher and Emily Seats, brothers, Donald (Filicia) Riffelmacher of MA, David Riffelmacher of Prague, Czech Republic, Nephew Austin Riffelmacher of MA and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
A service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 10:00 am in the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
