It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert "Jim" Garcia, who left us too soon on August 12, 2026, just shy of his 76th birthday. Better known as Jim to his friends and family, he was a man of strength and high standards who never lost sight of what mattered most - his family. Jim's indomitable spirit and dedication to those he loved will forever serve as an inspiration for all those he left behind.
An avid and passionate Denver Broncos fan, Jim rarely missed a game. He brought that same loyalty and energy to supporting his team as he did to every area of his life.
Above all, Jim’s proudest commitment was to his family. He took immense pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passing along his strength, values, and unwavering support to each generation.
Jim was born on August 27, 1950, to Salome and Pauline Garcia, both of whom he now joins in eternal rest. He is remembered as constantly pushing those around him to reach their full potential. His commitment to ensuring the success of others was outmatched only by his devotion to his family, a legacy that his loved ones will carry forward.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cathy Garcia, and their children Roberta Curtis, Samuel Garcia, and James Garcia. He also leaves behind his sisters, Patricia Cordova and Julie Ibarra, as well as numerous friends and extended family members who were touched by his steadfast character and love.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 4:00 PM on August 28, 2026, at 17151 Pine Ln. We remember Jim not for his untimely passing but for the extraordinary life he led and the countless lives he touched with his wisdom and love. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us in the days, months, and years to come.
