Robert Charles Leonard

Robert Charles Leonard departed this life on April 14, 2025. He was 75 years old. Bob was born and raised in Wayne, NJ. After graduating high school he worked several jobs and served in the US Army. In 1974 he married Holly, his high school sweetheart and love of his life. Following their wedding, they took an extended camping trip across the US, eventually deciding to settle in Colorado Springs. Together they started a paddle boat rental, Horizon Rentals. Bob was a skilled carpenter and ran a successful business doing home renovations for many years until poor health forced him to stop working. His joys in life were his family, hunting and fishing. An avid outdoorsman, Bob had a true appreciation and respect for nature.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Holly, daughter Heather, parents Joseph and Jeanne Leonard, brother Joe, and sister Kathy. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Graves (Jason), grandchildren Alicia (Alan), Adam, Brennan, Ayden, Evelyn and Bella, great-grandson Alan; brothers John, Michael, Mark, Paul and Matthew; and sisters Mary Beth, Nancy, Maureen, and Laura, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Bob will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
