Bob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and his Master’s Degree from Webster University. He worked in the traffic industry for over 40 years. First for Safetran Traffic Signals then most recently for Traffic Signal Controls of Longmont, CO. He traveled the country, even the world, helping cities solve their traffic problems. Recently heard about Bob's had been a long time since I worked with him on some projects while he was at Safetran. A really great guy, dedicated to his profession. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I have only known Bob Russo for about 6 months. Susan and I met Bob and Marilyn in Budapest, Hungary on a river cruise up the Danube. Although since that time we've only had dinner together twice, we became fast friends. Suddenly, Bob was not a stranger. I regret not getting to know Bob better. His death has taught me that you should never miss the opportunity to spend time with your friends. Marilyn, we will be seeing you. Loving Wishes, Tom Ellis and Susan Stewart

Marilyn, my deepest sympathy to you and your children and grandchildren for your loss. I am truly saddened by Bob's passing but rejoice in the good life he had with you and your family. From third grade to high school, we were best friends; we grew up together. In the following years we managed to stay in touch. I'm so glad I got to talk to Bob in his last days. He was a great guy and we'll all miss him tremendously.

Bob was by far the best "boss" I ever had. We worked well together all the time even when I got on his nerves. Our work in Puerto Rico made us about as close as two guys can get. (I was really hurting the with my back then). Marilyn I know you will miss him as he goes forth to a better place. When we were not talking business Bob always was bragging on you and Karen and Teddy. He love you all very much. May God's love and guidance be with you and all your kids.
