Roger Linville

Roger Linville born September 28th 1937 served in the armed forces from age 15 through age 18 in the Korean War. He married Barbara Lee Bryant on November 13th 1953. (Friday the 13th) He pass on August 1st 2015. Roger and Barbara brought four beautiful children into this world. Roger Dean Linville, Charlene Kay Linville, Johnnie Maurice Linville, and Ronnie Lee Linville. Roger was blessed to have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Roger Linville came from Kentucky and served at Camp Carson military base. After leaving the armed forces Roger began working as an electrical contractor and soon opened his own electrical contracting business. in 1969 which was Rogers electric. He and his wife opened Barbara's lighting center and then started Linville lighting and manufacturing. He was the president for the Home Builders Association and was also the post commander of the VFW 101. Roger Linville was a staple in developing the community of Colorado Springs through his electrical business. He helped many young men develop their own electrical business including his two sons. He loved hunting, fishing, and being a great family man. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 62 years barbara Lee Linville. his love will last forever!
