In 1969 he met Jackie & her two kids, Bob and Bill. They soon married and started a wonderful life together as the Youmans Family.
Ron and wife Jackie volunteered for Easter Seals, TSA, Ronald McDonald house, and held office for the Colo Springs Civitan Club for many years. We traveled often to Ohio and New York visiting family.
They enjoyed raising Bob and Bill and supporting them in sports and school activities.
Son Bob married Cindy and they have our wonderful grandsons Chad (Doug), Kenny (Lindsey) and they gave us 2 great-grandsons Logan and Luke.
Son Bill married Nancy and they have our wonderful granddaughters Kayla and Alyssa.
Ron was a quiet, and wonderful example of what a Husband, Father, and Grandpa should be. He and Jackie were married 45 yrs and it will be hard to not have him as the head of our family. He will be missed so much, but we are all thankful he is not suffering.
