

Roland lived in the Monroe, Michigan area most of his life. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated an auto body shop for 50 years. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Colorado Springs.
He was a member of the Eastborough Church of the Nazarene and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Roland is survived by two sons, Allen Rowlison, Dennis (Brenda) Rowlison; four grandchildren, Heather Alwin, Lauren Rowlison, Jessica Staffenson, Brad Rowlison, one great-grandson, Silas Staffenson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Rowlison; brothers, Richard and Ernest and sisters, Maurita Naoma "Mert", Verlee “Bee” and Edith.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 3-7 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Eastborough Church of the Nazarene, 4123 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs. Private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
