

Rollo Edward Lind was born on October 5, 1929 in Wilton, ND to Charles and Elizabeth Lind. He was the youngest brother to William and John Lind whom he admired and loved. He moved to Washington as a teen and returned to the Bismarck, ND area. He married his first wife in Indianapolis and had his daughter, Peggy (Dixon) in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army until 1959, when he was honorably discharged. He lived in Germany, Idaho, Minnesota and Hawaii before moving to Seoul, Korea where he met his wife, Songhee. They married in 1971 and had their son, Roger in 1972. The family moved to Maryland in 1974, where their daughter, Sandra (Sipe) was born. In 1975, they moved back to Korea and lived there until Rollo's retirement in 1985. He worked in the civil service as a budget analyst. Rollo and family moved to Colorado Springs at that time.
Rollo was a member of Gateway Presbyterian Church and enjoyed singing in their choir as well as the Colorado Springs Senior Chorale.
He loved his wife and was proud of his children. Rollo was easily loved by all that knew him and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, his children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and his brother, John.
A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Presbyterian Church, 731 Castle Road, Colorado Springs, CO.
and proceeding graveside to his final resting place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
