Ronald G. Anderson

Ronald Gregory Anderson was born on December 21, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He passed away at home on December 14, 2011 of a massive heart attack. He was the only son of Natalie and Donald D. Anderson.

Ron was a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School. He attended and graduated from Colorado University.

He opened an oil business in Casper, Wyoming before moving back to Colorado Springs. He married Cori Freischlag and had his two beloved children, Nicholas and Alexandra.

Ron was a financial advisor with Raymond James at the Bank of Colorado.

Ron was remarried in 2010 to Kendra Fleming and has a stepdaughter, Shelby. In addition to his family Ron loved sports. Hockey was a lifelong passion. He loved coaching junior teams and playing on club teams. He loved his community and working with Junior Achievement, Rotary Club and other volunteer organizations.

He leaves behind his wife, Kendra; children, Nicholas, Lexi and stepdaughter, Shelby; mother, Natalie Anderson; father and step-mother, Donald and Jane Anderson; and sister, Ashley.

A celebration of life will be held at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sertich Ice Center, 1705 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
