I find it impossible to choose one memory to illustrate how Ron made my life richer (he'd appriciate the pun). Ron included me. He sent my name in so that I too could get a membership card to the Ron Riley Batman Club. Ron shared the mysteries of the meaning of Don McLean's American Pie and took me to see a lecture by the great Gene Roddenberry at IUSB. We loved much of the same music and my love for lyrics came from Ron. I know that as an adult he wanted to be called Ron, but I will treasure my memories of my big brother "Ronnie."

I was 3yrs old when Ron was born. There was a song I fell in love with,"Bimbo" about a little boy with big blue eyes. So Ron became my "Baby brother 'Bimbo"... Named out of love... Then and now.......Susie

You will never know the amount of time you will have to get to know a person! This man was my great uncle who spent the most time with my mom, his fave niece Lori, and told me of the history of the family I was so distant from. He always wrote my mom letters to keep in contact and me emails of wonderful stories of how he came to be the person he grew into and of life’s regrets. My biggest regret is assuming he had many years left in him! May you rest in eternal slumber with your parents and siblings great uncle Ronnie I’ll always cherish the talks we had in person and how much my daughter loved hearing your stories as well! Love always, Jennifer, Lori, your sister Ruth and your great great nephews and niece!

Ron had quite the sense of humor. While watching "The Time Machine " during every suspenseful part of the movie when the worlocks were coming Ron touched my ankle and I must have jumped in the air three feet. Well I think that he is still snickering over that. Good one Ron, I will always smile over that one too. I will miss your laugh.

Love, Chelsea

Growing up Ronnie was always easy to laugh, easy to talk to and was a bookworm !! He was determined to go to college and have a career in writing, and he worked at a job that he could do that. He was always knowledgable, stubborn, and a good friend. and although we lived miles apart it was a joy to visit with him on the phone and in person. He will be forever in my heart.
