

Rosalie Roth, age 70, a resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on January 9, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Rosalie was born on January 5, 1944 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Ludwig and Lina Unglenk of Amana, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Clothing in 1966. She was formerly married to Robert Licko on August 28, 1965 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She is survived by her two children: Cynthia (husband Hans) Hoppe of Superior, Colorado; and Stephen (wife Jennifer) Licko of Horsham, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren: Corbin, Liam and Zachary Hoppe; and Tyler and Shane Licko; her brother: Carl Unglenk of Amana, Iowa; and two nephews, Richard and Andrew Bell, and their children.
She is also survived by her best friend and business partner Jan Kifer of Colorado Springs; Jan’s children Daniel Kifer of Colorado Springs; and Roger Kifer of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and Jan’s grandchildren: Lokela and Ryan Kifer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marcella Unglenk Bell; and Brother-in-Law James Bell of Towson, Maryland.
Lee was an artist and musician. She was a director at Arati Gallery in Old Colorado City, and manager of Wall-Paper’s to Go store. In 1995 she founded Lee Roth Designs, Incoporated, an award-winning interior design company serving the Colorado Springs area. She was known for her warm and gentle guidance and charm, her delightful laugh, and her doting attention to her five grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Peak View Conference Center at the Garden of the Gods Trading Post.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Colorado Springs organization assisting wildfire firefighters.
