

Ross graduated from Air Academy High School where he played football as a guard. While in high school Ross joined the Navy Reserve and found his passion. After graduation Ross spent 16 years in the Navy where he became a computer programmer and enjoyed traveling the world.
Ross was a kind gentle soul and everyone who knew him loved him. Ross was a high quality human being that never spoke ill of anyone. He loved to garden with particular fondness to bonsai trees. Ross enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing cards and board games where he was always driven to win. He was also an avid reader his entire life. Ross spend time in San Francisco where he gave sailing lessons, and later owned a sail boat himself. Eventually Ross moved back to Colorado Springs where he worked at Western Forge and Quasar Instruments. Ross was a smart-aleck with a sense of human that served him and those around him well.
Ross is survived by his brother Ed and wife Betty Huddleson, sister Kay Casey and sister Sara and her husband Tim Schrader; brother in law George Moore and sister in law Clarice Huddleson as well as many nephews and nieces. Ross is preceded in death by his brother Porter Huddleson, sister Mary Colwell, brother in law John Casey.
