Roxane Shelah (Moser) Wheeler

Roxane was born on March 10, 1954, in Berkeley, California, to Gaylord and Stella (Klingaman) Moser. She grew up in Richland Center, Wisconsin, where she shared her childhood with the boy who would later become the love of her life. Roxane graduated from Richland Center High School in 1972 and married Dale Richard (“Rick”) Wheeler on May 29, 1976. Together they built a lifetime of love and memories and were looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

She accepted Jesus as her savior as a child and knew and loved him. She instilled that love for him in her children. She was active in Bible Study Fellowship and in Women’s Bible studies at their church.

Roxane spent much time with her sewing machine over the years. She worked for Simpich Character Dolls, sewing clothes at home so that she could be a part of her daughter’s lives while they were growing up. She enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, and doing various crafts with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaylord Moser of Richland Center. She is survived by her mother, Stella Moser (Klingaman) of Commerce City, CO, her husband, Dale Richard (Rick) Wheeler of Colorado Springs, two daughters, Julie and Jaclyn Wheeler, both of Colorado Springs, and a brother Steven Moser (Trudy) of Commerce City, CO, as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903 from 2-4 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Living Hope Creekside Church, 6750 N. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80918 at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Creekside Coffee House or Living Hope Creekside Church.
