Roy L. Blackburn, 90, of Colorado Springs passed away on September 24 2012. Among his favorite past times were wood carving, wood working, fishing, and gardening. Roy served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife Lazona and his eldest son Jack.
Roy is survived by his children: Barbara (Roger) Blakley, Sandra (Mike) Puckett, Roy (Patsy) Blackburn, Daughter-in-law Penelope Blackburn, eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Sunnyside Christian Church, 2025 N. Murray with the burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
