Scott Dean Brushwein

Scott was born July 8th, 1992, in Colorado Springs to Bill Brushwein of Florida and Karen (Brushwein) Glenn of Colorado Springs. He is survived by his stepfather, David Glenn of Colorado Springs, sister Jessica Brushwein and her companion, Erik Miller of Colorado Springs, his stepsiblings Davey Glenn and his wife Amy of Colorado Springs, Melissa (Glenn) and her husband Rick Buck of Northglenn, and Stephanie Glenn and her companion Joe Taylor of Colorado Springs. Scott was also blessed with many aunts and uncles as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

Scott spent his life in Colorado Springs where he attended elementary, middle and high school. He enjoyed playing soccer and football as a youth as well as learning to play guitar. In his later years Scott enjoyed sketching as a way of expressing himself and writing rap lyrics.

Scott faced many challenges in his life, but always proclaimed his love for God and family. Even in the depths of hardship Scott would declare his love for his mom, step-dad, and his brother and sisters.

A celebration of Scott’s life officiated by his uncle, Ron Glenn, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
