Shari was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs. She was the oldest daughter born in Grand Coulee, WA on August 9, 1947, to Albert and Katherine Moberly. She lived in Pleasant Valley on the west side of Colorado Springs for almost 50 years; building wonderful friendships with the neighbors she loved and fattening up the local wildlife.
Shari loved her career in cosmetology, culminating with her managing State Beauty Supply for many years. She had a strong work ethic and boundless energy, which led to a successful career.
Shari married the love of her life, Richard, on June 21st, 1970. They were married for 44 wonderful years until Richard's passing in 2014. Together, they raised a son, Randall, and eventually became grandparents, which was her favorite title.
Shari is preceded in death by her Husband Richard Collins, her Father Albert Moberly, her Mother Katherine (Honey) Moberly and her sister Linda O’day. She is survived by her son Randall, her daughter-in-law Stacy, and her Grandchildren Ryan and Jade. Along with many cousins, nieces and extended family. She will be especially missed by her Sunday breakfast crew.
A Celebration of Life Breakfast potluck will be held at Westmoor Park in Colorado Springs on June 20th at 9:00 am. Shari hated funerals, but she thoroughly enjoyed the family breakfast get togethers. Please bring chairs, and a dish to share if you would like, but especially good memories.
