Sheila Mae Amick
February 2, 1943 – May 6, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery
On Friday, May 6, 2022, Sheila Mae Amick, Loving wife, and mother peacefully passed away at the age of 79.
Sheila was born on February 2, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry and Evelynn (Bernhard) Cohen.
On November 10, 1963, she married the love of her life Paul Lee Amick Jr. They raised two sons, David and Kevin and one daughter, Tracey.
Sheila loved the beach, any beach. And the family spent many summer vacations in Ocean City together. She loved to travel with Paul. She was an avid reader, loved cooking and keeping up with her many grandchildren and their adventures.
Sheila was loving and generous. She more than made up for her tiny stature with her feistiness and huge heart.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father Henry, mother Evelyn, sister Marilyn, and the love of her life, husband Paul. She is survived by her three children David (Lisa), Kevin (Tammi) and Tracey (David Cannella), six grandchildren Elizabeth (Karel Gonzalez), Christopher, Michael (Stephanie), Adam (Dale), Ryan (Sarah) and Marc (Tori), and one great grandchild Deken.
Our matriarch is already deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for you to make a donation to the Tunnel For Towers Foundation in Memory of Sheila. https://t2t.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/In-Memory-of-Online-Form_Interactive-Online-Form.pdf
The family will gather privately to honor Sheila’s life.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100
