Sheldon Donald Bray

Sheldon Donald Bray, age 91, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Friday May 1, 2026. Sheldon was born on August 24, 1934 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He graduated from Perth Amboy High School. He was married to the love of his life Ann Bray on July 12, 1969. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years in the Air Force and they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1974. He then retired after 20 years in the US Postal Service in 1995. He was a dedicated Denver Broncos fan, loved his wine, and had a big sense of humor.

Sheldon was preceded in death by his parents, Sara and Sheldon K. Bray, his sister Joyce Decibus, his brother Robert “Bob” Bray, and his daughter Tammi Parker. He is survived by his children Mike Cottam and wife Ruth, Kirk Bray, Debbi Kronson and husband Paul, Keith Bray and wife Betty, and Kevin Bray and wife Carrie, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, US, on May 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, US, on May 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

He will be missed.
