Some people pass through life quietly, but Sherry lived like a beautiful force of nature. She was a free spirit who moved through the world with an open heart, leaving a lasting impression on every soul fortunate enough to cross her path.
Sherry entered this life as a visitor on August 30, 1965, and left the world better than she found it on June 27, 2026.
A proud, lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Sherry’s roots ran deep in the community that she loved. It was here that she grew up, attended school, and built a successful career in property management. For Sherry, the line between business and community never existed; she looked at neighbors as family, weaving a beautiful tapestry of lifelong friendships out of her daily work.
To truly know Sherry was to encounter a vibrant, entirely unique energy. She looked at the world through big, brown, beautiful eyes. She had a beautiful smile and an unforgettable laugh. A deep believer in the unseen magic of the universe, she found her peace in the energy of crystals, rocks, and the quiet majesty of her home state. She cherished her quiet mornings. They were often spent in the stillness of nature, slowly sipping coffee on the porch as the world woke up.
At her core, Sherry was a wanderer and a seeker. She loved the freedom of travel and possessed a rare, effortless gift for turning strangers that she met along the way into lifelong friends. She was beautifully and unapologetically outspoken, wearing her heart on her sleeve and loving those around her fiercely. Sherry always led with absolute honesty and the purest of intentions—you always knew exactly where you stood with her. Beneath her bold spirit lay a profound, protective tenderness for the innocent. She held an endless soft spot in her heart for animals of all kinds and the pure, untamed joy of children, always matching their energy with her own gentle warmth.
Yet, no matter how far she traveled or how many people she met, Sherry always found her true home in her family. Together with the love of her life, her children, and her extended family, they stood as her ultimate pride and joy. She loved her children with every ounce of her being, and embracing the title of “Glam-ma” was undoubtedly one of the brightest, highlights of her journey.
Sherry loved hard, lived fully, and changed the landscape of the hearts she left behind. There will simply never be anyone quite like her. While she is no longer with us in person, her free spirit will live on forever and held tightly in the hearts of those who will miss her forever.
