He was born on June 4, 1947 in Paragould, Arkansas to Harlen “Hank” Sheeks and Margaret Sallady who survive him.
Sid is also survived by his wife, Judi, his brothers Dewayne Sheeks (Lidi Lensvelt) of Redding, CA, Eddie Sheeks of Springdale, AR, and Kevin Sheeks of Colorado Springs, CO, his sister, Tina Sheeks of Colorado Springs, CO, his stepsister, Rebecca (Ed) Bearden, two children and dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly and his stepmother, Juanita Sheeks.
Better known to his friends as Sid, and to his friends in the gaming community as Wyatt, Sid had retired as a private investigator in 2012 from the company he and his wife, Judi, started shortly after their marriage in 1994.
Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
A celebration of his life will be held at Holiday Village, 3405 Sinton Road, Colorado Springs on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.
