Stephen "Steve" Corey Thomas

After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer since December, 2014; Stephen passed away peacefully on August 18, 2015 at his home with the comfort and support of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Stephen's life will be held on August 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at The Wolf’s Den in Fountain, Colorado. Steve's many friends, coworkers, and family members remember his contagious positive and attitude towards living life to the fullest. His infectious smile and laughter will be a constant memory in their hearts. His friendly nature towards anyone is evident in the many long-term friendships he has cultivated throughout his life. Steve has enjoyed many fun times in the great state of Colorado, including skiing, whitewater rafting, and shooting pool.

Stephen was born in Stuttgart/Bad Constadt, Germany on June 25, 1961 to Peter M. and Sigrid E. (Kolb) Thomas. He was raised in St. Cloud, MN.

Stephen is a graduate of Apollo High School, St Cloud, MN and the Staples Area Vocational Technical Institute, Staples, MN in the Heavy Equipment Program. He was employed for the past 20 years as a Paving Machine Operator for Rocky Mountain Asphalt and Materials Corporation. In his spare time, Steve worked as a bartender at The Wolf's Den and the local VFW club. Stephen was also employed previously as a Commercial Truck Driver and an Oil Rig worker in North Dakota and Montana.
