On behalf of Lincoln Northeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska, the Class of 1969 would like to express our sympathies to the family of "one of our own Rockets, Steve Anderson" of his passing in 2020.  He was a handsome and kind classmate.  He will be missed.

Jean,  My condolences and prayers for you. Prayers for Steve’s eternal rest in heavenly peace. I just received notice of Steve’s passing from the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Cove council. I’ll always remember Steve’s and your positivity, support and volunteering for the Drive For Developmental Disabilities, Tootsie Roll Drive. 

Jean, Kyle, Eric and families:
I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was so young but I believe he lived a wonderful life and cherished very much his family. He will be missed so much. I will always remember him with his band Ye Tyrants playing out in Uncle Ed's garage when we'd come to Lincoln to visit and remember going to see them play at the park. I also remember his home on Y street and how much fun we used to have when we were kids. He was always joking and kidding around with a smile from ear to ear. 
 You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
