A retired U.S. Army veteran, Tawna served her country with steadfast courage and deep devotion. Her service included deployments to Kuwait and Iraq, and she was the recipient of numerous awards, including a Bronze Star—honors that reflected not only excellence in duty, but also the brave heart and compassionate spirit with which she met each day. To those who knew her, Tawna was beloved for the steady care she showed others and the strength she carried with quiet dignity.
Tawna is survived by her son, Christopher Ayers.
