Teresita was married to her late husband Lawrence Valdez until his passing in 1998.
She is survived by her six children,Delbert (Elaine) Valdez, Rich (Denise) Valdez, Anna (Terry) Austin, Louise Lucero, Elaine Badillo (deceased Robert Badillo and Joann (Leonard) Gomez. Teresita is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of the family, and everyone that she met called her "Mom".
A rosary service for Teresita will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.

A committal service will occur Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
