My cousin Theodore and I were very much like brothers growing up. I lived in Shreveport, Louisiana at the time when my family would spend our summers visiting our Maranto Grandparents in Pittsburg, Kansas . During that time I stayed with Theodore in his home. We had great times together riding bicycles, playing sports, exploring Lincoln Park, using the YMCA and even earning a little money shining shoes at his Dad's Hat and Shine Parlor. Even in our later years we enjoyed playing golf together in the Phoenix, Az. area. I loved him and his Mother and Father very much. I will miss him greatly. My family and I extend our deepest sympathy to his lovely family.
Cousin Leonard J. Maranto, San Antonio, Texas
