When aggressive bladder cancer struck, T.W. Jones rose to the challenge with his usual determination, perseverance and optimism. When it became clear this was a battle he could not win, T.W. was gracefully ready to enter the presence of Jesus Christ. T.W. passed away Dec. 3, 2022, in Colorado Springs at age 81.
T.W. was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who consistently and faithfully lived out his lifelong faith in Christ. He embraced life at full speed, with a dogged work ethic and a drive to serve and explore new pursuits and volunteer opportunities even in his latest years. His foremost prayer throughout life was for wisdom. He will be greatly missed.
A service celebrating his life will be held Dec. 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
