Thomas William Engler Sr.

Thomas William Engler, father, husband, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away unexpectedly in his home on September 14, 2017. He was born in Worthington, Minnesota, August 3, 1942, the third of seven children born to the late Carl and Dorothy Engler.

Family was exceedingly important to Thomas. He left high school at an early age to help support his younger siblings and as time continued, he provided that same care and support to his loving wife, Nancy, and children.

He is survived by his four children, Thomas William Engler Jr. (Ingrid), Pamela Cotterill (Gary), Bradley Engler (Cindy), James Engler(Cassandra); seven grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa Ann, Nicole Lynn, Zachary Thomas, Kailey Marie, Jackson Garrett, Zachariah Lee; great grandchildren, Lillian Nevaeh, Justin Jay; four brothers, Steven, Gary, Richard, Rick; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22nd at 11:00am, at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs.

Thomas is deeply loved by his family, and we will all miss him today, tomorrow and forever. This isn’t goodbye, we’ll see you again.
