Thomas Robert Gatliffe

Thomas was born Oct 22, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering. In 1976 he received a Master of Science in Operations Research at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA and in 1989 a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University. After retiring from the Navy as a Commander he was a senior statistician specialist for Rocky Flats Incorporated. He went on to receive a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering in 1994 at the Colorado School of Mines. He was a member of the Society of Quality Control, The American Statistical Association and The American Mathematics Society. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Dorothy Gatliffe.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Gatliffe, daughters Kathleen Gatliffe(Martin), Sharon Gatliffe, Christine MacDonald(Brian) and granddaughter Alice.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held for Thomas at 10:00AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11:00AM on Friday, July 7, 2023 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 9 El Pomar Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
