Thomas Vincent Kenny

Thomas Kenny, age 44, of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. His father, mother, eldest sister, extended family and friends were by his bedside through his passing at Penrose Hospital.

Thomas Kenny was born March 25, 1981, in Fountain Valley, California to Paul and Mary Kenny. Thomas Kenny was the fourth child. Victoria Scott – Sister, Jennifer Scott – Sister, and Jonathan Kenny – Brother. As young siblings they loved playing Atari, camping, fishing, climbing on rocks, and going to the beach.

Thomas Kenny met Jacki Kenny in Hemet, California in 2009. They were married for 16 years. Jackie Kenny, the love of his life, made my brother happy, he had the best days of his life with her. “He was always loved” - Jackie Kenny.

Together they enjoyed going to the beach, camping, barbecuing, sitting in the backyard with the firepit going while enjoying some beers, loving on their dogs, being silly while taking selfies, and loving on each other in just that special way they needed. They were always there for one another, always taking each other’s phone calls.

Thomas never outgrew his love of the outdoors. As an adult he continued to seek the mountains and the stars, to sit in front of a firepit and stir its embers. He loved being there with his wife, family, and friends. Thomas became an Uncle and was very excited to do as much as he could with his little nephew who was named after him. He had hopes of giving his nephew ten dollars before his passing, he wanted to make his birthday special.

Thomas loved fishing with his parents and camping out with them, and he was always a wonderful helping hand in the house. He and his big sister had a love of video games. PlayStation – TETRIS. Everything was always packed up like playing a game of Tetris. He yearned for that next Rock adventure with his big sister, Victoria Scott. Baby brother, you will go on every walk and every adventure, forever I carry you in my heart, you are loved.

Thomas Vincent Kenny is survived by his wife, Jackie Kenny; his father and mother, Paul J. Kenny and May Susan Kenny; his eldest sister, Victoria Scott; his sister, Jennifer J. Scott; and his brother, Jonathan Kenny.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Traditions at Colorado Springs, 6010 Tutt Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80923.
