Thomas enjoyed Living within Nature, whether that was in the mountains camping with family, Sitting by/on the lake enjoying the scenery with a fishing line in the water, or fighting rapids with his lure in the river. He Loved to golf with family and cheering for the Raiders on Sunday. With the rest of his free time he valued FaceTime with his family to hear about their lives away from home.
Thomas was a devoted father, loving son, supportive brother, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. Above all, he believed deeply in family and responsibility. His greatest pride was his children, and he worked hard to lead them with strong values, integrity, and example.
As a father, Thomas was stable and present, always offering guidance, protection, and unconditional love. Those lessons live on through his children and grandchildren, who carry his strength and passion forward every day.
Some of Thomas’s happiest moments were spent with family - playing rounds of golf together, sharing laughs, and making memories that will be treasured forever. He also loved fishing in the mountains, finding peace and joy in nature. A devoted Raiders fan who enjoyed cheering on his team just as passionately as he showed up for the people he loved.
Though his passing leaves a deep ache, Thomas Charles Wood Jr. leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, commitment, and most of all family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Memorial Service for Thomas will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903.
