Timothy Charles Hensley, 70, of Colorado Springs, passed away on July 25, 2019. He was born in Colorado Springs on January 7, 1949. Timothy graduated from Ellicott High School. He was married to Constance L. Hensley (Trujillo) on November 25, 1988.
Tim had a career in construction and retired from civil service as a maintenance engineer. He was a Navy Vietnam Veteran from September 1967 to May 1973, and had a passion for vintage cars.
Tim is survived by his wife Constance L. Hensley; his children Amy, Mary, Havana, and Jeremiah; his grandchildren Veronica, Dazzia, Cynthia, Jesús, Malina, Gracie, Chloe, Tiberius and Illyana; his sisters Jan C. Trujillo (John), and Joylyn Fetters (Richard); and his brothers Patrick Jay Hensley (Michelle) and Charles Virgil Hensley (Collette).
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Allen Hensley, his mother Marchetta Hensley (Snell), and his brothers Michael (Mic) Hensley and Dean Lowe Hensley.
Tim was a simple, kind, giving man, with a passion and love for his family. He always took care of everyone else in his family first before he took care of himself. He was dedicated to his family, and had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone who was around him. His wisdom, advice, and support were always a comfort for his family in times of need. He was a wonderful man who will truly be missed by all his family and those who were fortunate to meet him.
Upon Tim's request, a small ceremony will be held for the family on Friday August 2, 2019 at 11am at Swan Law with burial to follow at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
