Tod Moody was born November 3, 1951 in Los Angeles, California to Walter and Eleanor Moody. He had the genetic developmental disorder Fragile-X Syndrom. Tod grew up at home in the Denver area with his two sisters and brother; Jan, Jill and Ned.
After age 18, Tod spent a few years at the Colorado State Home in Wheatridge. Then he went on to spend more than twenty years in the Host Home System through Denver Options and Colorado Living Alternatives, where his mother and family were able to visit regularly.
In 2010, Tod retired to The Gardens Skilled Nursing Center in Colorado Springs. His sister, Jill Beattie and her husband Richard, children; Christian, Melanie, Grace, and Erin visited him weekly until his passing on July 9, 2018. He is survived by his brother Ned, sister Jill and her husband, four nieces, and two nephews.
