

Tommie Revious passed away in Colorado Springs on January 17, 2015. She was born in Shamrock, Texas on June 18, 1926 to Lonzy and Lula Addison Clay. She grew up on a farm and attended schools in Shamrock, Twitty and Kelton. Tommie married Claude “Pete” Revious in Sayre, Oklahoma on Oct 31, 1942 at the age of 16. She traveled with her husband, who was in the Army Air Corp, to California, Washington, Florida and Tennessee.
Tommie moved to Colorado Spring with her family in 1958. She was a licensed insurance agent where she and Claude owned an insurance agency. After Claude’s death in 1976, she and her daughter moved to Wheeler, Texas. While there she worked for Wheeler County Farm Bureau Insurance and Dr. Larry Barbour before retiring in 1993.
She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Payne of Hurst, Texas. Also, three sons, Johnny Revious, Lonnie Revious and Don Revious all of Colorado Springs and daughter Rosemary Revious of Amarillo, Texas, with whom she made her home with for years.
Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, brother L.G. Clay Jr., sisters Opal Daughtry, Ethel Purnell, Annie Claborn and grandson, Jason Revious.
A Funeral Service will be held, Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Colorado Springs, CO.
