Miss Trisha was the best. She took care of my kiddos from Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I have no idea how she did, but she made each child feel loved and appreciated. It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that she is no longer caring for all those kids. They have no idea what they are missing. Miss Trisha was a blessing. May she Rest In Peace. She will be missed. 

I am writing this with my daughters Elsa and Iris who loved Ms. Trisha dearly. When we think of Ms. Trisha we immediately think of her beautiful smile and the way she greeted everyone with warmth and love. Elsa particularly remembers Ms. Trisha’s magical hugs that could make kids or adults feel better instantly. Iris remembers Ms Trisha’s kindness and how she always noticed if someone needed a friend, a hug or a snack. We were a military family who moved here without knowing a single soul at MVE, Ms Trisha made everything better for our entire family. With grace and love she cared for everyone around her—so much kindness and love in one person! Thank you Ross family for sharing Trisha with us. Ms. Trisha was such a wonderful blessing to our whole family. She always went out of the way to ensure Sam (now 7th grade) and Claire (now 5th grade) were taken care of in every possible way -- from saving forgotten lovies (stuffed animals), to helping creative projects come to conclusion another day, and always sharing a cheery smile and hug that usually received one in return. She brightened our lives for many years, and we're incredibly honored to have had her imprint on our souls during such a formidable time. I am struggling to find words to say how devastated and sorry I am for your loss. Trisha (or Mrs. Trisha as we have always called her), left an indelible mark on the lives of my family. When our son started at daycare during kindergarten, he was incredibly shy, and we had a really hard time leaving him there. Mrs. Trisha immediately took him under her wings, and she made sure he felt safe and included. She would introduce him to a new student each day and make sure he had someone to play with. He got so attached to her that shortly after he started there, he would ask to take extra snacks to share with Mrs. Trisha every morning. They would sit at her desk and talk and share a snack and then he would go play, and every night he would tell us all about the snack they shared, and the conversations they had. She was so much more than a daycare provider, she loved him in such a tenderhearted way that no one else ever had. Trisha and I became friends and would meet up for lunch or dinners these past few years, and I always admired her constant smile, laughter, and positive outlook. The last time I saw her she told me that our son, who used to be the shy kid who hid behind her, is now the first person she introduces to new kids at the daycare, because she knows he will work hard at making them feel welcome and included. What she taught him through her caring for him, he turned into a lifelong skill of caring for others, and I will forever be grateful to Trisha for that, not to mention all the wonderful memories and funny stories she would share with me about our son’s adventures at daycare.


I am incredibly blessed to have known her for the short time I did, and I am so saddened by her loss. I am praying for the family and all her friends and loved ones, that we may find peace and comfort in our memories of her. She was one of a kind.

Ms. Trish was adored by all IIE kiddos, especially my 5yo daughter. We will surely miss your smiling face and kind heart.
