Troy V. Edwards, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Cordell, Oklahoma, May 05, 1925. The oldest of six boys, born to the late Earl and Cleo (Rainbolt) Edwards.
After high school Troy joined the Navy for 3 years as a radio man 2nd class during WWII and served on the USS Olmsted.
Shortly after his discharge he met the love of his life Verna McCardia. They married and had two children. He was a wonderful and devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by Verna Edwards and his five brothers.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory loving children Pamela Smith, Sherry Dyer; grandchildren Robert McWilliams, Stacy McWilliams; great grandson Anthony Burch - and many more relatives and a lot of friends.
Greatly loved and will be missed for always.
