Valda was born to Sara Jane Beck and Robert Emil Molder on 12/18/1951 in Beaver Falls, PA. She was the oldest of her siblings. She was a 1969 graduate of New Brighton High School. Even though she relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado from the Valley in the early 2000’s, she remained a loyal “Lions” fan to the end. For 20 years, Valda worked as a CNA and Unit Clerk at the former Beaver Valley Geriatric Center. She also worked as an in-home health aide before changing careers to the mortgage industry.
As she moves on to her heavenly adventures, she leaves behind two sisters: Karen Molder (New Brighton, PA) and Kim and Dan Boyer (Rochester, PA). She also leaves behind two sons: Brandon and Kristi Ruffalo (Victorville, CA) and Aaron and Heather Ruffalo (Colorado Springs, CO). In addition, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, her beloved grandchildren, and grieving friends. She was proceeded in death by her father in 2005 and her mother in 2006.
Per her last wishes, there will not be a memorial service. Her desire was to be cremated and her ashes set free, along with those of her cherished cats, in the mountains of Colorado. She asked that a donation to your local no-kill shelter be made in lieu of flowers.
