Wayne Edward Miller

Wayne E. Miller, 74, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. He is survived by wife, Diana Miller; son, Brian (Brittany) and their children, Kayla, Weston, and Brenen; daughter, Sheri (Dustin Mehsling) and their children, Caden, Austin, and Savannah; brothers, Vernon (Alice), Jerry (Jan), Dennis; and sister, Linda (Paul Kaufman). He is preceded in death by parents, Homer D. and Marie Miller; brothers, Richard, Larry, Joseph; and sister-in-law, Delores.

Wayne was born on September 24, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Homer D. and Marie K. (White) Miller. Wayne married Diana Thomas in 1977. They have a son and a daughter.

Wayne was a member of the Air Force Academy Band as a trumpet player for 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. While in the Air Force, Wayne became involved with photography and publicity. After retirement, he went back to school to become a Software Test Engineer.

Wayne will be remembered for his steadfast devotion to family and serving the Lord. His musical ability was appreciated by his family and band/church members. His photography was inspiring and appreciated by clients and family and friends alike.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Vista Grande Baptist Church,5680 Stetson Hills Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. Pastor Bill Cox will officiate.

The pallbearers are his six grandchildren: Kayla, Weston, Brenen, Caden, Austin, and Savannah.
