What lovely photographs you have in tribute to your mother. Mrs. Daily's sweetness shows through her smiles and the happy times of her life. It was so nice to see pictures of her, pictures of her loved ones and pictures of the joyous times in her life. I know you will miss your times together and miss her terribly. Please know my deepest sympathies are sent to you.
Sincerely,
Letha (Mabry) Steed

Bert was a wonderful neighbor and a very special person! Our time together was brief, but she made a lasting impact on me! I regret not staying in touch when she moved to Liberty Heights and now it is too late...my precious Mother died on March 15, 2017 and our dear friend from church the following year. It was my inability to risk closeness (and another loss) that kept me from staying in touch. I am fortunate that I have a few precious mementos from her that I bring out during Christmas and in my garden. Linda, I know this will be tremendously difficult for you, and Stewart, but what a blessing she was and will continue to be in our time left until we are all together again!!

For almost 20 years we were neighbors of Bert and Pete in Colorado Springs. One of our memories was of them working in their garden, which was a beautiful, bountiful garden every year. And they shared some of that bounty with us! They helped our daughter Julie become interested in stones/gems; it was their hobby, and Julie went on to make it her hobby, too, writing papers about the subject for school. They, along with Linda, were such good neighbors when our daughters were growing up, and we will cherish the memories we have of them.

I was sorry to hear of Berts passing last week. She was a genuinely nice person, and always had a smile and a cheerful hello for us when we were able to all get together for lunch. I enjoyed her company and hospitality over the years with my family, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Prayers and condolences to her family.
