Winston McGlairn Eldridge Jr.

Chuck was born on October 5, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Winston M. Eldridge Sr. and Bessie (Dade) Eldridge. At seventeen years old, he enlisted in the Army, where he served his country for twenty-one years. His tenure enabled him to gain an extensive education, which he put to use in two additional careers; he was a Computer Engineer and Computer Analyst, spanning thirty plus years.

On November 30, 1963, Chuck married the love of his life, Linda Bernice Copeland, in El Paso, Texas. Together they had two daughters and one son. He dedicated his life to God and created a powerful and indelible legacy that will influence his descendants for generations.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda; daughters Shandelin (Vince) Anderson, Toni (Jeffrey) Cole, and son Winston “Malachi” Eldridge III.; his brother William Eldridge; eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The life of Chuck Eldridge will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on June 10, 2017 at Church at Briargate, 9550 Otero Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. Chuck will be cremated, and his ashes will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
