Abbie Lara was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Lara, son Eddie Lara and great grandson Jesse Flores. She is survived by her daughter Belinda Madrigal, her grandchildren Jeremy, Jared (Sylvia), Justin, Jedd (Andreea), Brittany, Allyson (Michael), Melissa (Rick) and 22 great grandchildren.
Abbie was born 97 years ago to Desiderio and Angelita Martinez and had two brothers Angel Martinez and Gilbert Gonzales. After the death of her dad her mother married Pedro Gonzales and he raised her as his own. Her lifetime passion was her family, friends and taking care of children. Abbie had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Loma Linda University Church. She worked for many years teaching children until she retired in 1995 from the Loma Linda Children's Center.
Abbie's loving smile and kind heart will be missed by countless family and friends. We thank you for the years of your unconditional love and support. We will cherish the many years of making memories with you and look forward to seeing you again some day.
