Anna Rose Manes was born in Acquaviva Delle Fonti, Bari, Italy in 1918. She immigrated from Italy to New York in 1920 at the age of 2. She grew up in Rockaway Beach, NY. Anna married Vincent Manes in 1939 and relocated with him to Redlands, Calif. in 1944. She had two children, Nicoletta, born 1940 and Edwin born 1946. In her later years she traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Caribbean. After Vincent passed away in 1975, she stayed in Redlands until her passing on June 25, 2017.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Nicoletta A. Oliver and son, Edwin V. Manes, both from Redlands, Calif.; granddaughter, Victoria Starr-Busch and grandsons, Justin Manes and Steven Mortenson. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren.
