Arnulfo G. Urrea

Arnulfo G. Urrea of Colton, went to be with our Lord surrounded by family on August 30, 2015 at the age of 94. He was born in Cosala, Sinaloa Mexico to Arnulfo and Julianna. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Dora, daughter Julie, parents Arnulfo & Julianna, and many siblings. He is survived by his five sons and their families; Jose “Nuffie” (Nina), Bernardo “Beanie” (Adele), Father Miguel, James (Susan), Steve (Lisa), grandchildren; Joseph, Toni-anne, Frances, Anthony, Bernie II, James Jr., Kayley, Jenna, & Stevie Jr., brothers Tony & Ernesto (Virginia), 38 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in-law Rosa Herrera (David), Stella Dominguez (Bobby), Mary Elias, and Sophie Elias, and many loving nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

Our daddy was so full of life. When he entered a room you knew laughter would be involved. He loved his family and was known for making his menudo, playing cards and dominos with his family. At the age of 94 he was very independent and full of his beautiful stories. One of his proudest moments was becoming a US citizen. He was a wonderful example of strength, hard work, loving fun, and family. Since the passing of his beautiful wife Dora he missed her dearly and is now joined with her in heaven. They are shining down on us as our guardian angels.

A special thank you to Reche Canyon Rehabilitation Center for their loving care and support for our parents. All services will be held at St. Catherine’s of Siena at 339 N. Sycamore Ave., Rialto, CA. 92376. The viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, September 8th, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM with the Rosary beginning at 7:00p.m. The celebration of life mass will follow on Wednesday, September 9th, at 11:00 a.m., with a burial to follow at Hermosa Cemetery 900 Meridian St. Colton, CA.
