You will be missed greatly! As we gather our thoughts, prayers and hearts to pay our last respects; we come short to everything you gave to your friends, family and fellow men. You and Crystal were two peas in a pod and your daughters the motivation that kept you Both going.  Your genuine heart served many and we will remember you always!!

Dear Dad, I don’t know where to start, I can’t put to words how much I loved you, You were like a best friend to me. I loved every little moment with you and how you made everyone smile. Thank you for being there for me and for being the best dad anyone can have, I will really miss all the times you took my mom, my sisters and I to travel places. I can’t pick a favorite memory because all of them are my favorites. You were gone way to soon, I love you so much Dad, till we meet again❤️

Cuzz Memo , so I really don’t know where to start, I’m lost for words , all I can say is that from the first day to ur last day you really showed me nothing but love  , you where & will always be a special person in my heart that’s for sure , I’m so thankful for letting me built a lot of memories that won’t never go away , just about every year since we meet I would go visit you & the family, that really meant a lot to  me , but I will definitely keep it going because our memories will always be there & to go see Baby Crystal, Danaly, kayli, & the rest of the family, R.I.P Cuzzo I will miss you for ever  🙏🙏

Man it’s surreal to think you’re watching us from up above. You are a genuinely nice and loving person and I was lucky to get to spend a short time period with you. You are a great father and husband to your family. Your fatherly traits are those I most admired. I thank you for the great memories and I can’t wait for you to greet me just like you did in LA, with a list of must see places.

It’s been very hard to accept your gone.  We are truly going to miss you. I’m glad we made memories with you, every time we told you we were going to Cali or Vegas you were willing to let us stay with in your house or meet up with us. Raul would always say you were his favorite cousin and would tell us how you were doing since you guys had weekly/daily calls. You were an amazing man who always made us feel welcomed and always had smile. I also know you were a great son, brother, husband and father. I always admired because you were a hard working man who always were providing for your girls, you would also take road trips with your girls exploring different cities. I loved to see your pictures on Facebook and wished you could take us there someday. Cuz, Rest In Peace and wait for us until we meet again. Love you and we will look out for your girls.

Only God knows why he’s called you so soon, the sadness it’s left us with is too much to bear. 
I only have vague memories of us as kids, but I thank God, from the bottom of my heart, I was able to see you again last year.  It was great to finally meet your wife and daughters. They will be your legacy as I can see your face in theirs, especially Crystal, and I can see how much you loved them and they love you. I could see what a proud father you were and I’m sure they will continue to make you proud. 
We’ve lived miles apart for years but we’ve always been a close family. Now you’re farther away and there’s no going to visit you...until we take our last trip to join you.
RIP primo and we will meet again.

Gracias por darle buenos consejos a Romeo que se portara bien con su mama y que le hechara ganas a la escuela, algo que quizas yo y tu no siempre hicimos. ;) Dios nos hizo Primos porque sabia que nuestras mamas no nos aguantarian como hermanos. Hubiera querido haber sabido que iba a ser la ultima vez que te veamos cuando asististe a mi fiesta de Cumpleanos virtual en Mayo en el zoom. Aunque no hablabamos seguido siempre sabiamos que estabas haciendo con tu familia porque Raul se encargaba de darnos las ultimas noticias de donde se paseaba el Primo Memo. Lo vacilabamos y le deciamos, "Hay Compi, tu de veras que quieres mucho a mi Primo Memo no te puedas ni aguantar una semana sin hablar con el. Le deciamos que era Amor Instantaneo cuando te conocio. Raul siempre nos dicia, "es que tu primo es super buena onda," y nosotros le deciamos, "Si, eso ya lo sabemos." Te recordaremos todos los dias de nuestras vidas, tu eras un persona muy buena, con mucho amor para dar. Yo le agradezco a Dios por haber tenido el privilegio de tenerte como "Primo" como "Cuz!" Tenemos que creer que tu estas caminando a un lado de nosotros todos los dias. No te podemos ver, no te podemos oir, pero sabemos que estas cerca. Ahora tu eres un Angel en en Cielo, cuando miremos al cielo y veamos la estrella may iluminante, sabremos que eres tu cuidandonos desde el Cielo. Cuida a tus ninas, a Daniela, y a mi Tia y mi Tio desde el Cielo. Y aqui estaremos para apoyarlos. Te extranamos y te queremos mucho, Primo!! 

Parte 1...
Mientras escribo este mensaje siento que te estoy escribiendo otra carta como te escribia cuando eramos ninos y tambien cuando eramos adultos. Primos son los primeros amigos que conoces y al crecer se convierten en Amigos para toda la vida. El dia que te perdimos, perdimos una parte de nosotros, y nuestros corazones quedaron rotos. Nos quedan los recuerdos de las cosas que hizimos cuando nos conocimos de ninos en el Rancho. Nos quedan los recuerdos del Primo Memo que nos llamaba seguido de California siempre con una voz llena de felicidad y decias, "What's up, Cuz?" "Que onda prima?" Cuando eramos ninos hablabamos por telefono por horas de la musica que escuchabamos, que ropa vistiamos, y de nuestro accento de Chicago comparado con el accento de ustedes en California. Nos mandabamos cartas y fotos por correo para conocernos mejor y la mera verdad que sintiamos que viviamos en la misma ciudad aunque nunca hemos vivido en el mismo estado. Nos hicimos mejores amigos instantaneamente. Cuando crecimos como adultos nuestras vidas ocupadas no cambiaron nuestra Amistad de Primos. Bonita amistad de Primos que los Zepedas siempre hemos tenido. Cuando nos veamos o hablabamos por telefono parecia que el tiempo no habia pasado. Nunca se me va a olvidar cuando Tino se mudo a Los Angeles, California y nos llamo por telefono y dice, "Ya conoci al Primo Memo, es tan buena gente, me trata como si me hubiera conocido toda su vida, y me llevo a conocer muchos lugares bonitos y buenos restauranes." Y nosotros nadamas le contestamos, "Si, Tino, haci es el Memo, siempre super buena onda!" Cuando visitabamos a California tu siempre te asegurabas que nos divirtieramos y que no nos faltara nada. Estoy muy agradecida a Dios que nuestros hijos conocieron a tus hijas y se la pasaron juntos el ano pasado en Universal Studios. Le agradezco a Dios que te volvimos a ver a ti y a Daniela. ...

Although, we didn't talk as often, we always knew what you and the girls were up to because Raul would always give us the "Memo Update!" We'd tease him and say "Man Compi, you love my cousin so much you can't go a week without talking to him!" He met you and it was instant love we'd tell him. He used to say, "your cousin is just so nice," and we'd be like "yes, we know!" We will remember you each day that we live, you were such a good person, with so much to love to give. I thank God for giving us the privilege to have you as our "Cuz" our "Primo!" We have to believe that you are walking beside us everyday. We cannot see you, we cannot hear you, but you are near. You are now an Angel in Heaven, when we look up at the sky and see the brightest star, we'll know that's you watching us from above. Take care of your girls, Dani and my Tio and my Tia as you always did, but know that we'll always be here for them. We will miss you and love you forever, Cuz!!!

As I write this I feel like I am writing you yet another letter like I used to do when we were kids and well into adulthood. Cousins are those childhood playmates that grow up to be forever friends! The day we lost you, we lost a part of us, our hearts are broken.  We have the memories of the things we did in the Rancho when we first met. We have the memories of our cousin Memo calling us from Cali always with a cheerful voice saying, "What's up, Cuz?" When we were kids we'd talk on the phone endlessly about the music that we listened to, the way we dressed, and our Chicago accent compared to your Cali accent....we'd mail each other letters and pictures. It felt like we lived in the same city although we never lived in the same state. We were instant best friends! As we grew older our busy lives did not change our relationship. When we talked on the phone or saw each other during our visits to California, it felt like no time had passed and we picked up where we were at that time in our lives'. Our unique Zepeda cousin friendship that the Zepedas have always had is what kept us so close. I will never forget when Tino moved to LA he called and said, "Hey, I met Memo, he is so nice, he treats me like he has known me all of my life, and he's taking me to see so many places and showing me good restaurants to eat at." And our response was, "Yes, that is Memo for you, always a good host." When we visited California you always made sure we had a good time. I'm so grateful our children got to meet and hang out at Universal last year. Thank you for giving Romeo advice about listening to his mom and doing good in school. Something you and I didn't always do. ;) God made us cousins because he knew our mothers couldn't handle us as siblings. I'm so grateful we got to see you and Daniela again. I wish I knew it was the last time we were going to see you when you joined my virtual zoom birthday party in May.....to be continued

I really don’t know where to start, I hold back the tears, it’s very hard to know your gone now & it really hurts to know that your not going to  be here with us anymore  & also ain’t gonna be here to spend time with the family how we always had it. I’m not going to forget the memories we had together & your advice, your voice, your laugh, the jokes you made, & all the above. I promise you Tio I’m going to graduate, I’ll make it happen for you. It’s going to suck cuz your not gonna be there but I know your going to be watching over me & also when I walk up stage. I know your going to watch all of us from up there We love u, of all the many blessings However great or small To have had you as an uncle Was the greatest one of all. The family chain is broken now & nothing seems the same But as God takes us one by one The chain will link again.

Dios hoy ha llamado tu alma y nos ha dado un Ángel Mas en el Firmamento para que vele por sobre todos tus seres queridos, ya disfrutas de la Paz eterna y ya estarás con todos aquellos que se nos adelantaron.
Muchas frases difíciles que expresar, todas hechas un nudo en la garganta, más difícil aun creer que ya no estés entre nosotros, no es una despedida es un hasta luego, te has ido repentinamente, siempre vivirás en los corazones y las mentes de todos aquellos momentos compartidos entre familia y amigos.
Dios te tenga en su Gloria Sobrino, difícil de creer 😢 cuánto lo siento, verdaderamente estoy Impactado. Mi Más Sentido Pésame y me uno al dolor de todas nuestras Familias.
Los miedos con los que naturalmente luchamos cuando nos vemos frente a la muerte se vuelven especialmente dolorosos cuando un ser querido se va. La soledad y el sentimiento de pérdida pueden ser dominantes. La única solución para la angustia causada por la separación de una persona amada es el consuelo que sólo Jesús nos puede dar. Nuestros seres queridos duermen por ahora pero un día serán resucitados por Dios Durante la “Resurrección para la vida” como él nos ha prometido.

Some of the best memories I have in my life with my family are because of you bro! You always found a way to make everything so special, you always had the highest level of energy to do all kinds of things. Sin duda alguna una de mis personas favoritas. Tantos recuerdos tantas cosas que aún nos faltaba por vivir. Mi cuñado favorito así como te lo dije más de una ves. Agradecida eternamente  con la vida por haberte puesto en nuestras vidas. Eres y serás una de las personas más queridas. Every moment I had with you I will cherish for the rest of my life. You inspired me to live life to the fullest, you weren’t the type to stand still and watch things happen right before you, you were always moving, making things or traveling places. You saw the good in people and places, you made everyone feel comfortable, at peace and loved. I remember when I sang that song in front of you and you hyped me up for not messing up the words, or when we talked about how I would be going to the high school you graduated from. Sharing documentaries and movies you liked with us, taking us to places we’ve never been to before. You always made me feel included, I’m lucky to call you my Tio and have these memories with you. Take care of your girls from up there, I love you, rest in peace. 

I don't know where to start, I've had so many great memories with you, that'll never be forgotten. One thing I will always remember was your contagious laugh. I used to love it when we gathered around as a family and you'd say your funny jokes with my tia Danny. I'll most definitely miss our family gatherings that we had with you. I love and miss you!

Chemo we will miss you lots, that is for sure, who is going to invite us to spend the weekend at your house even when Danis didn't know, who is going to take us in adventures like you used to, you were the best host ever and made us feel at home when we spent the weekend at your house, and your personality that not only made us laugh all the time but made us love you as family.  And so many memories that we'll keep forever, who is going to wear my ugly sombrero to the store like you did last time, not even I do wear it anymore. You left to soon, but it was nice to have you as a part of my family,  my kids are devastated because you are gone, for them you were their tio Chemo, we will miss you so much.

Lo mejor de estos momentos es que Dios nos permite mantener solo los buenos recuerdos de quien ya no está con nosotros. Estaremos siempre para quienes quedan. 


Art was my neighbor.  When ever I needed assistance around my house he was always ready to help---he was a very organized person and his house was always neat and clean inside and outside.  He is very missed----it's hard to accept his absence.

We have so many wonderful memories it's hard to chose one. A part of us are still in denial that you are no longer here. It is very hard to imagine that at the next get together you will not be there. 
You will forever be remembered and missed greatly. 

I'm never gonna forget all those calls I use to get on a daily basis. Or text messages.  I felt like I was your partner in a relationship. You would either call or text just to see what i was doing.  N how my family was.  And if I didn't answer.  Well, all hell broke loose and you would get mad at me and tell me I was to cool now.  Lol. We would always fight and argue over the dumbest things. But that's what made us so close.  You weren't just my cousins husband.  I can say I saw you like a brother, an older brother i never had.  But truth be told what I loved the most about you was that you were always trying to stay positive for my cousin and the girls, no matter the situation..

My Favorite memory of you is your contagious smile and positive attitude! Such a wonderful Father a good husband and a Loyal Friend. You are forever in our Hearts Youngster Mad Love and Respect from your Extended SS Family!
