Benjamin Adrian Nieto

Benjamin Adrian Nieto, 74, passed away on September 3, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1952, in Sacramento, California, to Maria Nieto Patlan of Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico and Trinidad Nieto Mendez of Laguna Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Benjamin spent most of his life working as a farm laborer, a lifetime of hard, honest work that reflected his quiet strength and dedication to family.

He was a devoted father to six children: Phillip Anthony Nieto, Alicia Christina Nieto, Veronica Nieto, Nellie Adriana Nieto, Benjamin Adrian Nieto Jr., and Georgina Marie Garza.

Benjamin had a deep and passionate love for dogs throughout his life. Even while bedridden in his final days, his thoughts turned often to his dog, Coco, whom he lovingly asked about — a testament to the loyalty and tenderness he gave so freely to the animals he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Nieto Patlan and Trinidad Nieto Mendez, his brother, Acencion Patlan Nieto, and his sister Maria Refugio Nieto. He is survived by his six children, eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his loving brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and all who knew and loved him.

Benjamin will be remembered for his loving heart, warm smile, sense of humor, and his gentle love for his faithful companion, Coco. He will be deeply missed.
