She was born on January 12, 1929, to the late Ralph Hilliard and May Pelmulder Hilliard, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She married the late Michael Bogdanovich, in 1948, and they lived in Lincoln, NE; South Lancaster, MA; College Place, WA; Berrien Springs, MI; Loma Linda, CA; and Calimesa, CA. After Michael’s passing in 2011, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law.
Berniece loved her family, travel, books, music and animals. She enjoyed a long career devoted to her church. She was a member of the Loma Linda University Church.
Berniece is survived by her daughter, Patti Bogdanovich Larkins and her son-in-law, Thomas Larkins, of Saratoga, California. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be laid to rest with her husband in a private service at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in Colton, California.
